Origins Page Click here to get your VISUALIZE WORLD PEACE bumper sticker Peace Vision evolved from an experience Ginny Hayes had while meditating at Carmel Temple, located in South Houston, TX, U.S.A., in the early 1980’s. She clearly saw the words “VISUALIZE WORLD PEACE” in white letters on a deep blue background as a bumper sticker on cars. She shared this information with others at Carmel Temple, and all were excited about the idea. Ginny and Charlotte Sigler, Carmel Temple’s co-founder, spent the following week researching what it would take to start the project. The final quote they received was $500 for printing 5,000 bumper stickers. The project was put on hold for lack of funds. Miraculously, the following day, a check came in the mail to Carmel from a friend who was not aware of the project. Feeling that this was divine guidance, they used the funds to print those first 5,000 stickers. The project was so successful that Ginny and a friend, Jacqui Braley, decided to set up a separate business featuring Peace products, on the other side of town. This was the birth of the name “PEACEVISION”. Ginny moved the business to Arizona, and when her health failed, her Estate donated all of the Peace merchandise to Carmel Temple.
